Enterprise4All (E4A) and Enterprise in Action

Enterprise4All is a leading provider of business and personal support services with particular expertise in providing support to disadvantaged people and groups – disabled, ethnic minority, older people etc – offering bespoke services to encourage enterprise employability and the growth of vibrant communities.

The Chief Executive (Ilyas Munshi) identified that some aspects of the business tended to be covered at a relatively high cost by consultants. His preferred option was to employ the right people who would be more cost effective and, whilst almost certainly less experienced, had the potential to grow with the job and contacted the Placements Team at UCLan. He identified a need for IT/web design, Events Management and Marketing.

After a series of interviews the Placements Team at UCLan were able to meet these separate needs through graduates Janine Teare, Anna Jameson and Jessica Briggs respectively.

As each placement expired, Ilyas informed UCLan that he was delighted with all three participants and had offered each a full time role within the organisation, all of which were accepted.

Together, E4A and Enterprise in Action do a fantastic job at promoting the interests of the disadvantaged. UClan we were able to provide them with four graduates who each proved their respective worth and are all now employed on a full time basis.
